Have any DoD employees applied for the fellowship? I am currently a DoD employee! I've known a few who have applied and were granted the SMART fellowship.

It seems this year transcripts were to be uploaded electronically.

Does anyone work for a DoD agency?

I would agree. Interest seems to be down based on forum activity. I applied last year and am re-applying this year. PhD in ME. Yea, that is what I meant by "less activity". Last year, it seemed to me, that this forum was busy going into the application deadline and again about the time of the award...

Anyone on the thread applied for the 2013-14 SMART Fellowship? What is the timeline for hearing back from SMART? Is everyone done applying to STEM programs?
