April 1st is a Saturday. Therefore, the most likely earliest date for award notifications will be April 3rd. According to previous applicants/recipients, they will only call to clarify for those recommended by multiple SFs or if there are issues that need to be cleared up. Only those recommended are still in the running, but not all facilities interview before recommendation.

Are there any updates? Has anyone heard from SMART, or is it safe to assume we will hear on April 1st?

I read that SMART will conduct interviews between the 15th and 28th to do additional screening. Will this happening if you've been recommended, or is it only if SMART needs clarifications on your application?
