Hello,
I am a Junior majoring in Aerospace Engineering, I already have a Secret level security clearance from a previous internship with a DoD contractor, recommendation letters from my DoD managers, 3.46 GPA, and experience in rocketry and hypersonic.
I applied to the SMART scholarship last fall and have not gotten a single email in regards to an interview from a facility representative. I emailed the SMART support team and they said that some facilities do not do interviews at all.
Should I still get my hopes up for the chance to be awarded? Has anyone in a similar boat gotten an award with no interview?
