I believe they said that the money would be deposited the 3rd week of the month.

Also, is it just me or can we not fill out the Participant profile? I was also confused by this. Are we supposed to be able to type in all of those text fields? Because I cannot. And about a facebook group: I hadn't even thought about it being a security issue I suppose there is no reason to risk it.

Perhaps they are waiting to make sure that no one will be assigned to as facility that is going to be cut.

I got a call from a facility that I had not as one of my top three. The person I talked to said that he was looking through the database of semifinalists for candidates who lived close to the facility. So yes, proximity does have an influence on what facilities show interest in you.

I am a computer science and computer security major. And i'm a sophomore. I applied to Hanscom AFB, and 2 other places in D.C. I was contacted by Hansom ECS (because I guess the facility I actually applied to change location) and by Picitanny AFB (whom I did not apply to).

I'm computer science too. Where did you get calls from?

I received an email from the smart office today. They asked what facilities had contacted me and which one would prefer.

Right now, sponsoring facilities are just interviewing to decided if they want to nominate you. Then March 21-25th, the SMART office is interviewing people to decided where to assign them. So everyone who has made it to semifinalists is still in the running.

I received the same email from Hanscom ESC yesterday! I responded earlier today and then received a call shortly after that. He said that his recommendations have to be in by Friday. He just explained what they do at there and asked if I was interested.

Hey Ian, I selected Hanscom, Mass as my first choice, but I have not heard from them.
