Weird! I noticed I couldn't login to the SMART portal any more too, I thought I just used a weird password that I'd forgotten.

I emailed two department heads to introduce myself. I think it shows initiative but I can see that it might get annoying, if it's a competitive SF. I mainly opted to do so because mine doesn't seem to get scholars often so I wanted to make sure they were aware that I was even applying.

Will people comment here when you get any calls or other official notifications beyond your semi-finalist status? I'm already going crazy with impatience and we have a long way to go...

Every branch has their own coordinator regarding this. I know the USACE one is Dana Gunter, at the ACE headquarters in DC. Anyone know how to find out if/when and how many SMART scholars have been to a facility? I can't find anything like that. I'm interested in the USACE facilities.
