Possible sponsoring facilities/places to work

Is anyone familiar with research facilities that deal with structural responses to blast and impact? Looking to apply structural engineering principles in applications for the DoD whether be infrastructure, armament and vechile design or aerospace structures. I am familiar with a few, but feel like I might be missing a lot since there’s a lot of classification with governmental research. These don’t have to be sponsoring facilities either, I just really want to work in this field for the DoD regardless of if I am awarded SMART.

The geotechnical and strictures lab at ERDC (Vicksburg, MS) has a blast simulator. I think you should check their website.

I've seen what they have to offer and am very interested. They were one of my SF of choice this year and I am looking forward to seeing their decisions. Although, 95 degree averages with about 400% humidity might not be fun, I would be eager to work there.
