Does anyone know what the typical masters stipend looks like?

Mine is $2,750 a month as a master's student.

It's 33,000 a year. I don't remember the bracket but the lowest number ($25k?) is the B.S. student stipend, highest is PH.D. ($37k?) and then M.S. is in the middle at $33k.

Ok and if you live far away then you get an extra 1k per week during your summer internship on top of the stipend ?

Taxes are not deducted. Not even SSI tax. You are responsible sible for dealing with that yourself.

Mines around $2,300 after taxes. You just have to put money aside each month and pay quarterly.
