What do you do in the program?

That is the nature of the work done at these SFs following graduation? Also, what is a "technical track"? I'm looking to go into Materials Science and the website says technical tracks only for that major, not sure what that exactly means. Thanks!

Depends 100% where you are. There is literally no common ground. You could be anywhere from exactly what you want to nothing of what you want depending which SF's. Research/ask them/ask SMART scholars there.
