Do you guys know if SMART will allow us to add years to our contract in exchange for them to pay off existing student loans?

My understanding is that is a benefit of DoD, not SMART, so you will still have it.

SMART probably won't do this but I have heard of people asking when they get hired on about this (at least for the AF) and they'll usually want 3 extra years depending on how much you have in education loans.
